Calculator logic, filtering behavior, and most site copy are written specifically for this Site. Reference pages combine public game material, manual testing, structured data work, and editorial notes so that lookup pages can hand off cleanly to a deeper decision page when needed.
Because Slay the Spire 2 is still changing, some values and recommendations can go stale after a patch. When that happens, pages are revised, narrowed, or corrected instead of being left to drift quietly.
I started playing Slay the Spire during early access in 2018 and logged well over a thousand hours before the sequel was announced. When Slay the Spire 2 entered early access, I found myself doing the same mental math on every Doom stack, campfire, and event choice that I had done in the original — except the numbers had changed and no reliable reference existed yet. That gap is why this site exists.
I built STS2 Calculator to solve real mid-run decision problems rather than to produce another data dump. Every tool on the site started from a question I was actually asking during a run: does this Doom line execute before the boss hits me again, does smithing this card change the next elite more than resting does, is this event reward positive given how little gold I have left. The tools are narrow by design because narrow tools answer real questions faster than broad ones that try to model everything and end up honest about nothing.
