Slay the Spire 2 V103.2 Event Changes

V103.2 trims several event prices, lowers the Fragrant Mushroom upside, removes Tunneling Twosome from the Hive normal pool, and stops the Wongo featured slot from pretending a gold relic is a special offer.

The clean read is that the patch makes a few event clicks more disciplined. Waterlogged Scriptorium gets cheaper, Whispering Hollow asks for less gold on average, Hungry for Mushrooms gives less upgrade volume, and one stale Hive encounter quietly disappears.

The rest is quality control: one outdated Hive encounter leaves the pool, and Wongo's featured slot no longer advertises a relic that mostly refunds itself.

This is a real hit to the greed line. The relic still buys two upgrades, but it no longer gives the sort of oversized upgrade burst that justified sloppier HP spending.

Tentacle Quill cost 65 Gold and Prickly Sponge cost 155 Gold.

Now

Tentacle Quill now costs 55 Gold, while Prickly Sponge now costs 99 Gold.

That is a serious correction, especially on Prickly Sponge. The event now competes like a real mid-run deck polish stop instead of pricing its best line like a bad shop relic.

Now

Exchange Gold now rolls from 26 to 44 Gold, centered on 35.

The potion line is still a variance trade, but the average price is much saner. You no longer need a swollen wallet just to justify buying two random bottles.

These lines matter because they stop old junk from leaking into route reads and event expectations.

The lower exchange average means more Act 2 profiles can justify two random potions without gutting the rest of the route economy.

Fragrant Mushroom is still good, just less ridiculous

Losing the third random upgrade matters most when the deck still has a thick queue of premium targets. Two upgrades is still solid. It is simply not the old blowout line anymore.
